Cold Lamination.

(Pressure sensitive or Cold films).

Cold lamination has traditionally been used for large format digital prints where high UV protection or difficult to laminate substrates have been used, such as plastic coated papers, and vinyls. The films are coated on one side with a pressure sensitive adhesive (generally acrylic), and have a protective release liner that is removed during application. Materials are generally much more expensive than Thermal films. The film is applied at low heat, and slower to process than thermal films. Substrates used for base films include Vinyl, PVC, Polyester, Polycarbonate, and Polypropylene.

We offer a range of films to suit specialist requirements including non-slip polycarbonate for floor mounted graphics.
